Why it works

Focused support, built around how your child learns.

The aim is not simply to complete more questions. It is to identify the exact point of confusion, rebuild confidence and help your child understand how to approach unfamiliar problems independently.

01 / CONVENIENT

I come to you

Your child learns in a familiar setting, without another journey or an evening spent logging into a group lesson.

02 / PERSONALISED

Every lesson has a purpose

Sessions respond to schoolwork, gaps in understanding, upcoming assessments and your child’s longer-term goals.

03 / CONFIDENCE

Patient, clear explanations

Ideas are broken into manageable steps, with enough practice to make the method feel secure rather than memorised.

What a lesson can cover

Homework support, a topic that has not clicked at school, preparation for an upcoming test, systematic GCSE revision, scholarship or entrance exam work, or a longer-term plan to strengthen foundations.

Summer revision

Use the summer to start the new school year feeling prepared.

The summer break is a useful opportunity to revisit topics that never fully clicked, prevent important skills from becoming rusty and introduce the foundations of next year’s work without the pressure of weekly tests and homework.

Sessions can be booked as a short revision programme, a few targeted lessons or continued weekly support.

Plan summer sessions

KS2 foundations

Strengthen arithmetic, fractions, percentages, times tables and problem solving before the transition into KS3.

KS3 catch-up

Review this year’s key Maths and science topics, close gaps and build a stronger base for the next academic year.

GCSE preparation

Begin organised topic revision, practise exam questions and prepare for Year 10 or Year 11 with a clear plan.

Not sure what to revise? The first session can be used to identify weak areas and create a practical summer plan around the pupil’s school curriculum.

Common questions

Useful details before you enquire.

Which areas do you cover?

I provide in-home tutoring across Surrey. Send your town or postcode in the enquiry form and I will confirm whether I can travel to you.

Which ages and subjects do you teach?

Maths is available from KS2 through to GCSE. Chemistry and Physics are available from KS3 to GCSE, including combined and separate science.

Do you follow a particular exam board?

Sessions can be aligned to the pupil’s school and exam board. Including the exam board in your enquiry helps me prepare the most relevant material.

Do you offer summer revision programmes?

Yes. Summer support can be arranged as a short series of lessons to consolidate the previous year, prepare for KS3 or GCSE study, or target specific gaps before September.

Can sessions be occasional rather than weekly?

Yes. Families can book regular lessons or arrange targeted sessions around tests, difficult topics and revision periods, subject to availability.

What should I include in my first message?

The child’s year group, subject, your general area, preferred days and a short description of what they are finding difficult.
